In accordance with the Kushiro City Tax Ordinance, the following hot spring tax is charged.

As a general guideline, guests with the following conditions are advised not to bathe:
Acute illnesses (including fever), active tuberculosis, malignant tumors, serious heart disease, respiratory failure, kidney failure, bleeding disorders, severe anemia, and pregnancy (especially during the early and late stages).

Do you have a laundry service or coin-operated laundry?

A coin-operated laundry is available. Washing machines cost JPY 300 per use, and dryers cost JPY 100 for 30 minutes.

There are many attractions around Lake Akan. Eastern Hokkaido, where Lake Akan is located, offers a variety of scenic destinations, and downtown Kushiro is only about one hour away by bus. If you venture a little farther, you can also visit famous attractions such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Shiretoko, Lake Mashu, and Lake Kussharo. In addition, there is a hot spring town just a few minutes' walk from our hotel.

Is there a hospital nearby?

Akanko Clinic is located about 5 minutes away by car. During nighttime or on holidays, the Kushiro Night Emergency Medical Center is available in Kushiro City, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes away by car.

Are there any hiking or mountain climbing spots nearby?

Mount Oakan, an active volcano with an elevation of 1,370 meters, is located southeast of Lake Akan and is a popular hiking destination.

Is there a post office nearby?

The Akanko Post Office is located about an 8-minute walk from the hotel.
